Everyday care, personal to you

Pennsylvania personal care with dignity and choice

Personal care helps with selected daily activities while respecting the person’s abilities, privacy, preferences, and independence. Pennsylvania services are non-skilled home care.

Daily activities that may need support

  • Bathing and personal hygiene
  • Dressing and grooming
  • Toileting and incontinence care
  • Mobility and approved transfers
  • Meal setup and appropriate feeding assistance
  • Cueing and familiar routines

The assessment and service plan determine which tasks are appropriate.

Keep the person involved

Discuss which activities the person wants to do independently, what assistance they prefer, and how to preserve privacy and personal choice.

Understand the boundaries

Non-skilled care does not authorize skilled nursing procedures. Medication reminders support an established self-administration routine only when allowed by the plan and worker role.

Check the schedule and payment path

Share the ZIP code, requested days and times, and general timing. Ask for written service and pricing terms. If a program or insurer may pay, Eden’s participation and the service authorization must be confirmed.

Tell us which tasks need help in Pennsylvania

Describe bathing, dressing, meals or other routines needing assistance and the schedule being considered. Eden can review whether the request fits its Pennsylvania non-skilled home-care scope.
