Choose care you can understand and discuss
Choosing home care means trusting someone with part of everyday life. You should be able to ask direct questions about the people, the plan, the cost, and the way concerns are handled.

A plan that starts with the person
Discuss the support needed, the person’s abilities, preferred routines, and who should be involved in care decisions. Help should have a clear purpose and agreed boundaries.

Clear responsibilities
Before starting, understand the worker’s role, the tasks in the service plan, the schedule, and whom to contact if something changes.
Facts you can check
Review the agency’s license category, service scope, written terms, and complaint information. Ask for clarification when a claim is unclear.
Licensure and scope
A decision without pressure
An initial inquiry helps identify the next step. It does not commit you to care or guarantee a start date. Ask for written information you can discuss with the person receiving care and others they choose to involve.
Ask the questions that matter
Start with the care tasks and location. Ask Eden to explain service boundaries, care planning, written terms and how concerns are handled before deciding.
