Can a caregiver fill a pill organizer?
Not as an ordinary reminder task. Medication setup and administration require a separate review and an appropriately authorized person.
What if a dose is refused, missing or uncertain?
Follow the care plan’s reporting process. The caregiver must not independently decide to repeat, skip, replace or change a dose. If the person can no longer self-administer, the arrangement needs review.
